JW: I'm sick of the anti-americanism by ameriKans. that whole mindset is communistic. we are far from perfect but far above the rest of the world in fostering freedom and liberty. yes we will suffer from our mistakes financially. but the American spirit will prevail. many of the mistakes you point to on a global scale i.e. IMF, World Bank doings, are the easiest sign of the failure of socialism. we are no better at exporting socialism than fostering it domestically. I am more optimistic. I see the younger generation coming to grips with the insidiousness of a socialistic path. they see their hippy parents as spooners off their grandparents thrifty values. have some hope my man. look for the silver lining.
