Its becoming increasingly clear that the merchant energy sector will not rebound until the US economy as a whole recovers. There is no significant growth in electricity demand, and all the additional power projects, ala DUK and TE, are in jeopardy of not being able to sell their new power at prices that will cover the costs of building the plants. larry
