DoCoMo using Fujitsu BTS equipment

TOKYO, Japan—Fujitsu Ltd. said it has begun providing base transceiver station equipment for NTT DoCoMo’s IMT-2000 third-generation mobile networks since July.

“The new base station equipment uses a high-speed channel signal processor and a high-efficiency transmitter amplifier built with new distortion-compensation technology developed by Fujitsu and Fujitsu Laboratories Ltd. announced Sept. 5,” said Fujitsu.
