take a lot within Scandinavia for instance
check for kids requiring new AirJordan's every year
check for VCR, DVD, PC, three cars, and 5 TV sets per house
check for Mastercard debts equal to 3 months wages to pay for lifestyle over their heads
you wont find it
nothing in the world like what you see in the USA

Look north Jim. That's one of our similarities.

<"take a lot within Scandinavia for instance">

Hehe. OK, but TAXES! HELLO!?!?!
If you like Scandinavia so much I dare you to move there.
Drive a Saab, jump in icy water, whatever.

A googlage pulled up this:
As a general up-date, earned income and business income is taxed at graduated rates at a maximum of some 56%. Income from capital sources including gains is taxed at a flat rate of 30% (or individuals may be partly exempted). Such income from closely held companies is taxed partly as income from capital, partly as earned income. A new act on social fees has been introduced and mandatory social security charges payable by employers on remuneration to employees (or by the self-employed) are levied at approx. 33%. A further approx. 7% (50% creditable/deductible) is payable by employees themselves within certain brackets.
