To take one example of Israeli aggression, in 1981 Israel bombed Osiraq.

Yes, they did. With the stated goal of destroying a nuclear weapons facility that was under development. Is that justifiable? Well, it's a matter of opinion. I think that in some circumstances it is, and in others it may not be.

That is one potential example - thank you. Do you have a second?

Moreover, Tom: do you think that attacks against civilians at bus stops, in cafes and in shopping areas, are justified? Ostensibly - or at least until you can cite other, more recent evidence of "Israeli aggression" against Iraq - as retaliation for a military action that took place 21 years ago?

...Bush and Blair characterized it that way. They said we would attack the civilian population of Afghanistan until they overthrew their government and extradited Bin Laden.

Please provide a link to any quoted text or speech wherein Bush or Blair said that their respective military forces would "attack the civilian population of Afghanistan."

Re your: "...Bush and Blair characterized it that way. They said we would attack the civilian population of Afghanistan until they overthrew their government and extradited Bin Laden,"

Let me add my LOL fit. The whole effort from the beginning was geared expressly to minimize civilian casualties...and all involved stated it just that way many times...and all evidence of the actual actions taken show that this is exactly what happened. Our actions in Afghanistan were neither planned by anyone as you suggest, nor carried out in the manner you suggest. Plain truth.
