Without suitable regulation, the sharks feed. It would be great if we could have total free markets....but it doesn't work, not everyone is honest. There has to be rules.

Unfortunately, the sharks were bigtime backers of deregulation. They got the rules they needed in order to raid the chicken coop.

The insider ones that pass the deregulation or regulation as the case may be, are partners in crime with the outside corporate criminals. In fact, many of them were outside corporate criminals to begin with. It's almost like an old boys club, an insiders circle, with the insiders protecting the outsiders and vice versa. One hand is washing the other. The outside corporate criminals fleece the public and then turn around and with that money support the insiders for re-election so that they can help them fleece some more... it's quite disgusting actually if you think about it... which is typical of human behavior... we keep reaching for new lows every few years...
