Mish, I don't always disbelieve the bears at all. I thought TER and many other stocks were ridiculously over-priced a few months ago and said so.

The problems I have stem from selling of insider info, which obviously is still being done, naked shorting, occasional MM and NYSE specialist manipulations, and the fact that Hedge Funds and institutions are now controlling the Markets with as much as 50% of daily volume.

This is not anywhere close to a fair market for the small guy.

hi.. DO you think the maximum pain theory applies to stocks like ibm , given the fact that it might in fact be massively over valued but is still looked at as a wall street favorite
