If there is any legal logic to the government's determination of which accused terrorists deserve due process and which do not, it can be discerned only by minds keener than mine.

Maybe it would help if Mr. Sullum had legal training, especially in constitutional law and constitutional criminal procedure. Or if he had actually interviewed some people who had that training.

If all you know about the cases is what you read in the newspapers, you really don't know very much, especially when the journalists have no training in law and don't interview lawyers.

Opinions are only worth the reasoning power and factual knowledge behind them.
