Re: My suggestion: Be careful what you say in public.

I've even had my words maliciously mis-understood here on SI by a lunatic who claimed I was _______________________,
(redacted) and told me he was turning me in to the FBI, CIA, my local police and.... as a special bonus at no extra cost, the Bill O'Reilly Show. <vbg>

This was as hilarious (or seriously sick) as the report in Salon that the TIPS hotline connects to the TV show "America's Most Wanted". Why bother with civil authorities when you can take your grudges, slanders and libel directly to the tabloid media?

We do have a sick system right now. And the present mal-Administration seems to gloat at how awful they are making things for the rest of us. It's shameful. It's childish. And it's baffling to me why citizens don't stand up and say "enough" of this nonsense like the ridiculous Homeland Security team response on Florida's Alligator Alley. We are indeed becoming a confederacy of dunces here in the new U.S.A, the Confederated Republic of American Petro-producers. CRAP for short.
