AS people have said repeatedly on this thread, they know people so much better here.

I don't recall anyone taking a position that we can absolutely know people better here than in 3D. I may have missed it, but I think those who sound like they're saying that are merely expressing a counterpoint to those who are saying that we can't know anyone here at all and that posters aren't real people. Both extremes are hyperbolic. I think the fact is that, in some ways we can know people better here and in other ways we can know them better in 3D. If everyone would just calm down, I think we could find a consensus around that.

I believe you are taking this position because more and more people on SI are telling you (directly and indirectly) that your posts are filled with bitterness and they are coming to the conclusion that you must be a very unhappy person. So it suits you to say that no one here knows you.
