When you answered a number of posts that had been made to you after I'd made mine.

I understand how you might have drawn your conclusion at the time that you drew it.

What actually happened was this: I got tangled up in the thread, particularly with jumping to all of Neo's links, to the point of making one response on the Bush thread and of missing a whole block of posts on Beanies and both my reading and my responses were all out of sequence. I'm still not sure that I saw all of yesterday's posts. At the time that you concluded that I was ignoring you, I was not doing so. At the time I got to your post asking if I was ignoring you, I had not yet seen your earlier post. By the time I pieced together your set of messages, the thread had been vacated for the evening, and you had gotten snippy. Whether or not you choose to accept my assertion of what was going on with me is up to you. As is whether or not you choose to accord the transaction any import.

For the record, unlike Neo, I don't feel obligated to reply to every post I receive. He thinks it's rude not to respond to a post that says only "thank you" with one that says only "you're welcome."

I consider a post to me to be an opening, not an obligation, just as I do with what I receive in the mail in 3D or the sound of my phone ringing. I respond to what interests me as well as to what I would consider rude to ignore. As I said, my interpretation of "rude" is not the same as Neo's.
