The bounce of the Dow will be some bounce off 3800. Eventually all stocks fall and all go up if they don't go out.

I am betting on the decline of civilization. I saw that when people started wearing spiked hair, and knee crotch pants. Devolution has set in. Better learn duhese.

Perhaps things will go like Jules Pfeiffer predicted in Little Murders. Society will degrade into a Balkans type war zone. Mad Max. On the beach. Kyoto might speed that up.

We are losing our fertility, dying of cancer like flies. Nobody seems to care.

It's.... ooooooooovvvvvvvveeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrr aaaaaaaarrrrrggghhhhhh...

Hey! What would happen if everyone decided to quit work tomorrow and go homesteading or whatever? I mean, face it, there is nothing going on downtown anywhere but selling insurance and other bullshit scams. Why bother? It's all a paper empire of hocus pocus games. 10% of city dwellers anywhere do anything real. And it's boring, right?

Someone should set up a business of trading in city life occupations for real life in the country. Far before retirement. Sell bankrupt farms, etc.. You would get money for the homes you buy out, and money for the farms you sell. After all most farmers who went out of business did so because they were poor business men and tried to grow what the govmint told them to.

Might run into trouble with the national guard if it were a groundswell movement. Have to bump off a few generals and politicians to get it to work. Can you imagine, a US Tianamen square demanding land rights? I think we had that at the democratic convention a few decades ago.

I could see in 1971 in Ohio (I was there) that the problem was that what we thought ran the country, and what really ran it were two different animals. That flying wedge of policemen on Rockefeller's payroll a thumpin' dangerous pregnant women convinced me. No democracy here. One leveled a shotgun at me and looked down it for a few seconds. I could have been history right there. I never liked Rockefeller after that. I could see he and many friends of his needed a telling. But there is no way to defeat the money. They gonna rule that joint for a while yet.

Never elect a rich autocrat. They jes' don' care about other people making money. To a man they is socialists. Once you got money, you don't care about the means of getting there for others.
