This is R-A-R-E to the extreme. We pride ourselves on open - fair discussion, but can get a little antzy when extremists take the stage at times. ( not referring to bibi here )<G>

Also, your police are too nice to be effective (though they did use tear gas at Concordia, but only after the protesters began throwing rocks, breaking windows, and attacking those who had come to hear the speech). I remember when Indian protesters closed one of the main commuter bridges into Montreal, and the situation developed into a three month siege. I happened to be in Montreal when a reporter, gathering man in the street views, asked me about it. The reporter seemed quite interested and surprised when I explained that as an American, the whole situation was inconceivable to me. If this had happened in America, the National Guard would have opened the bridge in a day, using rubber bullets or whatever force was required. To my knowledge, no riot in America has ever closed a highway.
