"Are you saying they spent a bunch of money...?" He's saying they RESEARCHED it first, as anyone but you would have had enough sense to do. Guido was first contracted to do RESEARCH. Any scientific study starts with a review of the available literature and previous research, including actual mining records in this case. Only a total moron like you would start a business in an industry, about which he knows nothing, in a foreign country, about which he also knows nothing, where he doesn't even speak the language, without first doing months or years of research.

Doug, who is the stupid one here? I think I'd rather spend $100,000 in research than $500,000 in other peoples money to do DD to find the lack of promise of a property. Of course you would rather someone else lose their money, right? What a putz!
