The economy suffers, Fed floods with cash, inflation goes out of control, everyone plays musical chairs with investments to try to stay afloat. We lose a decade in technical and financial progress converting to war economy that ignores anything that doesn't destroy things and kill people. The purpose is world domination, as Wolfowitz admits. It's a dead-end. No good will come of these policies. Notice nothing is on the news except foreign war, nothing of domestic value. The Dogs of War try to control the media, the votes and the Treasury. It's amazing to listen to Rumsfeld's excellent con-artist presentation to go immediately into war, the "don't look for a smoking gun, that's one that's been fired!", is a great meaningless sound bite, since they're after evidence of labs and bomb factories, if those can't be searched the only strategy is to rule every country in the world. Which is the subtext anyway. "Iraq has gone to school on the weapons inspectors, they've gone mobile!". So he means, don't inspect, just invade, regardless of the damage to American soil by other Arabs. Did you catch W's tantrum after Saddham announced inspections would be welcomed?
