Thanks, Gottfried. Now to the business of comparing historical lows todays, 1998, and 1996. Do you see any cause for concern. I believe there is much room for stocks to fall which of couse will depend on extrinsic factors ie war, economic recovery and of course on hopes that people who have lost all that money will be coming back to put more money in the market.

PS: I own mxim, lltc, amat and trade nvls, altr, xlnx; all on the long side; I rarely short stocks.( I wish I had done that for last six months)
