Hi John - what exactly would it take to convince you? Hello, CB. The case the Bush folk make for preemptive attack on our part is that we are in immediate danger. None of the varieties of things brought forward constitute evidence for such. In fact, the latest round of things--the most recent being the long New Republic piece--suggest that the fact gatherers in the administration can't agree on the immediacy of the threat. Evidently, Diane Feinstein has asked for the intelligence estimate which is supposed to accompany any claims of threats as this level. None has been forthcoming.
