Now you are trying to dismiss his arguments because he (gasp!) says, accurately, that these arguments come from the left. No, of course not. Now you're making things up. I'm simply saying that (a) those arguments are about different things, (b) are not necessarily only made by folk who would call themselves "left", and (c) Den Beste thinks they are ideologically derived and thus he can impute some sort of ideological roots to them. It just might be that, in each case, they don't derive from ideology. But, as I read, Den Beste, he seems to think they must.
