Now we know why Paul McCartney wants to be the walrus. I guess!

Have you seen the Ode to the Oosik?

In edit, I recently saw a movie made by the Inuits about the Inuits about 500 years ago. Subtitled, of course. It was absolutely brilliant. During the credits, they showed them carrying some of the props, and one was a walrus head that the shaman would wear. It was absolutely stunning in it's size, and when seen in an upright position, and being placed on a man, then one could see how it achieved it's reputation.

I am not a big Beatles fan, but when Paul said he was the walrus, that was supposed to mean he was dead I think. So, the visual impact of seeing an upright walrus, does impregnate one's imagination with the idea of a guardian of another dimension. I could see that then.
