Lead story in the WP is our invasion plans. The amount of detailed info here is incredible.

I agree. And irresponsible on the part of folk who leaked it. I can't imagine it serves any purpose other than self gratification for the leaker. This is not leaking in the service of opposing the Bush administration aims in Iraq which can be seen as necessary in a democracy with as buttoned up an administration as this one. But to leak plans this specific. I fail to see any serious reason.

Actually LB, I see the recent NYT and WP stories re battle plans somewhat differently than you. Imo this is a pretty high quality "dis-information/psy op" campaign by the pentagon. Quality disinformation must contain elements of truth to be believed or accounted for. There is a battle plan. It is now up to Saddam to consider what is truth and what is fiction.
