A review of the Motorola T720....looks like they have a winner on their hands.

mobile.burn.com

The review is of the GSM version but the CDMA version should be available tomorrow at Verizon. It'll be $199 after a $100 rebate....the rebate requires that you send in an old handset.

Still, a pretty good deal considering all of the features....color screen, BREW, gpsONE, and polyphonic ringtones.

Interesting to note that the CDMA version is lighter than the GSM version with a longer standby time (but a shorter talk time).

They also dont include any Korean subscribers who have bought more than 1x handset (probably not a small number considering how often some Korean subs upgrade their handsets).

Amongst other things, they seem to be completely unable to understand handset replacements. I've already replaced a 1x voice handset with a 1x data handset, Sanyo 5150 for Samsung A500.

One 1x sub, two 1x chipsets.

PS - Actually 3 chipsets, because the first A500 had a problem, so they replaced it.
