On the subject of American emigration to Cuba (or the emigration of anyone from anywhere to Cuba since the Cuban Revolution) - as near as I can tell there is nothing to research!

While there have been a handful of individuals who have problems with the US who have lived there briefly - Philip Agee, Huey Newton, Jacobo Arbenz - as near as I can tell NO ONE has given up US citizenship and gone to Cuba to live there pernamently as a citizen. ...

Like to keep modifying the subject don't you. This was your original statement that was challenged.

It's a wonder that none of Cuba's foreign admirers ever go there to live permanently.

That says nothing about citizenship at all. You can be a permanent resident and not change your nationality. Each country has records of resident status of foreign nationals, temporary and permanent. Quite straightforward, though I doubt that it's available on the web. But who knows maybe it is.

I think we've established that you think there are no foreign residents of Cuba that have permanent resident status. But you really haven't checked, and it sounds good.
