I just thought they were quite touchy about the fact that fundamentalists, who are usually very exclusionary, were excluded from the warm comfy circle of the post modernist embrace. I also think it is impossible to dismiss the appeal and influence of Eastern religions which have been creeping in to the West in a serious way for at least 100 years.

Recognizing the bias isn't hackle raising for me. I think it is just amusing.
