Sig - Despite all the ribbing I do on this thread, I've gone from 'very sceptical bear' during the mania to 'worried semi-bull' now. Just as history said the late 1990's/2000 was an abberration, the excesses have for the most part been erased in the tech area. Aside from my trading of stocks like Dell, this year is the first for some time that I have started to put money for the longer term into the worst sector of all, telecom.

The 'worried' part for me is because of the possibility of Stephen Roach's deflationary scenario becoming a reality. If that occurs it's going to be another trip back thru a late '60's/1970's market, where you could trade but the DOW went nowhere for 10 years...
