Over 1,200 historians have signed our petition to that effect. We believe the president is flouting the Constitution, which explicitly gives to Congress, not the president, the power to declare war If I took this seriously, other than as another propaganda blurb from the "Tom Paine" Site, I would have to question their knowledge of History. Naaah. I would never do that. BTW, Tom Paine is one of my Heroes. The man who said, "The Common Good is nothing more than the sum of the Individual Good." People like these keep trying to turn him into a collectivist.
