"How about a serious post every once in a while". That was a serious post. There are several reasons why I don't post much. 1) I'm not academic enough. ( not well read enough ) 2) I'm too emotional. 3) I already spend enough time debating with myself on all these great moral dilemmas. 4) This is a macho US thread and not receptive to outside perceptions. 5) This thread is heavily right wing and consequently hawkish. This is not necessarily bad but it is unbalanced. 6) I find listening and learning more helpful to my psyche than selling my position. 7) The most fascinating thing about following this thread is the insight I gain peering voyeurlike into the American mind. It never ceases to amaze me. Anyhoo...thats why I don't post seriously and why I read the thread religiously. BTW...what channel will the war be on? C
