OT: I think there may be some additional downside for DUK Robert but I would ask myself why there is not a higher number of shares sold short before holding a short position too long. I do think the utility stocks are going down further, hence my target of 225 for the UTY, but most of these companies are a lot cleaner than Enron ever was.

Be careful. The bounce on Friday suggests that DUK has got lots of support despite some very legitimate concerns.

Please do some more research. Energy trading itself represents a very small portion of Duke. Earnings in excess still of $2. Dividend is only $1.10, a 50% payout ratio. Often utilities have payout ratios above 70 and 80%. Duke produces its on power, resells its excess, owns interest in countless acres of lakefront property. Valuation is $17 Billion currently. For one of the leading and most widely respected utilities.
