re: coal stocks

Hi Joan. I've beening adding a little bit. I have holdings in a lot of commodity firms: natural gas, oil, gold, coal, real estate, etc.

I try to only buy the industry leaders whom have the best industry balance sheets.

I concur that coal is tempting at current levels. Long-term I favor natural gas because it is cleaner. Penn-Virginia, a coal firm, recently received a bid -- but nothing so far has come of it.

Good to hear from you.
