I suggest you do a Web search, I'm tired of doing everyone's search for them... this is no free government handout, don't you think you ought to do your own work for a change? Let me just say before I disappear into SI cyberspace that your knee jerk response and your obedient goose stepping behind the current president is doing no one any good including yourself. You have let your emotions cloud your logic. This administration is clearly out of control, is malfunctioning badly and using Saddam to stir up the pot, and to keep the American public's focus away from seeing the truth. The economy is faltering badly, our relations with our allies are at the lowest level in years, the problems between Israel and Palestine threaten to explode to new levels, many of the environmental laws passed in the last two decades are in jeopardy, the Taliban and Al Qaeda are regrouping, and the newly installed presidency of Afghanistan is short on money and hope. The rest of the world watches on in horror as well as amusement at our bungling........amusement at the quality of the current administration's rhetoric, and in horror because of the enormous stockpile of armaments at their disposal. But why try to say what someone else has said so much better.....let me quote Gerald Kaufman, a law maker from the U.K.'s Labour party, and a colleague of Tony Blair. Mr. Kaufman made these comments in an interview with the UK's Spectator magazine back in August. "Bush, himself the most intellectually backward American president of my political lifetime, is surrounded by advisors whose bellicosity is exceeded only by their political, military and diplomatic illiteracy". And before you come up with the usual excuses......they're jealous of our wealth, they wish they could be so powerful, they are effete snobs, they don't understand Americans bla bla bla, you best read it again. The implication of Mr. Kaufman's words are chilling. No matter their effect on you, I know what I'm doing......working for and giving my money to every candidate this fall who will put an end this folly. In the meantime, I'm outa here! Have a good one!
