young folks leaving as the Country taxes them more and more to support the welfare of the elderly and other social programs.

Thank God they pour into this country and support my Social Security! :^) Thirty years ago, I never thought I would see it.

Well, that definitely determines the "truth" of the matter, once and for all. I guess since the German Gov. has forgotten how to say "how high" when W says "jump", the country is doomed.

Demographics are working against Germany, France and Japan. Their populations are aging, their birthrates are down and they are actually depopulating themselves.

With their entrenched social welfare programs it is definitely a recipe for disaster over the next 50 years.
