RE:"My stop is @ $5.25 - I don't want to lose much money on this thing. (if it goes that way)"

I don't use anymore stop. MM always try to go steal those shares in a short big down-tic and you end-out having sold at the very worst time.

Good lock to us :-)

p.s. - I didn't think AMD and the economy would come to this. I sold 1,500 shares a couple years ago and put it down on a house. Now its worth a little more than a down payment on a car.
LTBH is not a way to go anymore in a bear market. Like zeev say, take your profit soon and often.

1500 AMD shares is still more then I put down on my house. But then I put a bigger downpayment on my car then my house (and no I am not driving a Ferrari)

Bacchus 2, I just picked up 1500 shares. Not a ton, but all I want to put on the line these days. My stop is @ $5.25 - I don't want to lose much money on this thing. (if it goes that way)
Good luck,

Dave, AMD has not seen prices at this level since 1996. Just know there is very little support at these prices, meaning the stock's movement will be more motivated by the markets overall movement rather than technical factors particular to the chart.

I didn't think AMD and the economy would come to this either. They announced tonite the market value of all the airlines together is $160 million. I don't think that price would buy much more than 2 or 3 planes. :~((

Normally, I would say AMD stock at $5.50 per share is a steal....but in this market, it may prove to be grossly inflated.
