Re California "energy crisis": Yet another ruling indicating that it wasn't "market forces" or "wasteful practices" or poor planning or bad legislation by a bunch of leftist eco-whiners. Nope. It was simple greed and illegal behavior by suppliers.

Ahhh....the joys of de-regulation.

Most here are plain stupid, getting poorer by the minute. I suspect Ft Lauderdale boy is on the short and/or put side. His motives are mainly financial. The worse the better for some, and Bush can sure deliver that. So much for their avowed PATRIOTISM...

To know how bad its about to get, we need look no farther than FLA.

If GZ is from there, you'd think he would know better......but some people just never learn.

You talk like a sore loser, explain how being short these markets is unpatriotic... TIA and yes, I am making a fortune on the short side these past few months...

only pods swallow that 'if you're patriotic you'll go long on equities' drivel... to his credit, for whatever else his faults may be, at least gz is trying to make some money on the market... in other words, i believe your argument here is a non sequitur....

in any event, winning - whether in the markets or in life - is what matters when it comes to being, 'american'

we should put the losers into camps... and as for camps, i myself don't mind going as long as they have coffee and cigarettes and long naps... and they put the butt pirates down... and certainly some psylocibin in that coffee would be nice...
