<<. The real question is do we muddle along like Japan or have a
nice recovery over the next few years....>>

There is some cleaning up to do, taking months at a minimum
Companies that financially went belly up over a year ago but are still running on fumes from bull scat. A few pyramids to come down, like the selling of bonds to the public on "bundled" mortgages
Excessive derivatives and possible options deductions from earnings.
At least 6 weeks of blame- placing, by all concerned, with this fleecing the public
Its the crooked CEO's
Its the CIA or FBI or INS fault
Its the SEC fault for failing to act
Its the result of Clintons lax regime
Its the result of Mr Bushes policys
Its the publics fault for failing to read the fine print
Its the brokers fault for paying analysts to tout specific stocks
Its the excessive personal greed ( this one wont fly with me, we are talking finances wherein everyone is soley concerned with making MONEY- banks, brokers, companies, and paid politicians)
Dammit, it could be your fault.
But there is no question that its an election year, with all the blame throwing
Sig
Rats, I forgot it may be Mr G's fault or else ?
