I once found a low spot in a field, not a ditch just a concave spot on an otherwise flat field. The wind that day was very turbulant. As I lay in my spot, I could see the trees and plants being thrashed by the strong gusts of the wind. In my little spot everything was calm. I thoroughly enjoyed the moment. Not sure where that fits in to liking the wind but this was one exception for me.
