I suppose that's why his fellow academics have called him on the carpet at UNH?,

We already know that you lied about "fabrication", you kindly documented that one. Where is your credibility?

Just to give a couple of small illustrations of what a farce the editorial is:

tireless machinations of one hard-left professor

Really? What in that editorial supports "tireless machinations" or "hard-left professor"?

Nothing, absolutely nothing. Rhetoric chosen to appeal to the weak of mind.

Herold's claims have been little reported in the United States because journalists...have been skeptical of his peculiar methods of counting.

Joshua Muravchik makes no mention of the journalists by name that are skeptical of the method of counting. There's not even any indication that he contacted any US journalists. All he ever cites is foreign media, some of which he acknowledges as more than reputable. sic In mid-July, the center-right Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, arguably Germany's most respected newspaper, commented that in contrast to U.S. government reticence on the subject, "a study published in January by the University of New Hampshire speaks of nearly 4,000 civilians killed since October 2001.

Face it, jla. This Joshua Muravchik is a snake oil salesman, and he preys on those who are weak of mind. And he's praised by those that throw lies on top of his propaganda.
