In the usa do you think it would be better to nuke iraq vs have a lot of american soldiers killed?

As in the Cuban Missile Crisis, resorting to nuclear weapons could get completely out of hand. If the fall out hit Russia, for example, they might fire one or two back.

Who knows how many of them are out there these days? and who has got them.??

If China fired a nuke at Canada, would the USA fire some back. It's a similar scenario in my mind.

Whoa, missed that thrilling exposition of "moral clarity". US lost something like 300 dead in Gulf War I. Using nukes preemptively to avoid a repeat would really improve our standing in the world. Not that W's handlers aren't up to rationalizing something like that, if they were called upon.
