Well that is the first courage on the matter i've seen out of Algore .... not that i've covered all the news out there by any means, but it seems like if he and other prominent democrats had the guts to stand up [as, to their credit, have a number of republicans], then reports of it would have crossed my screen

Quite right of him to come out against the unilateralist camp ... if there is evidence that SH is a clear and present danger, sufficient to convince Denmark and New Zealand and Canada, then let's go for it, do the bugger ... if there is no such evidence, then perhaps Mr Bush might do better to get real, start dealing with some truly troubling domestic issues

It's what happens after doing SH, that matters more than anything ... if Dubya thinks he can set up another Somoza or Batista there, and retire to his tejano porch in eternal peace, having taught them gooks a lesson, well good luck on that .... get a good slice of the world on your side, for a thirty-year all-inclusive commitment, then you've got a chance .... but history won't end on a blow-up of Baghdad, it didn't start when those planes went into the towers, it started way back and will go on as long as we survive as a species
