Shall we start the impeachment proceedings now?

jjtmab,

Whenever someone claims I'm from Lala Land, I always refer them to my disdain of the Art Bell Show and my skepticism about Rense.com. There are limits. <gg> Then I mention that the Bush Putsch seems to have a unique variant on Lala Land that they're hoping to achieve.

I liked this quote:

"I cannot believe the gall and the arrogance of the White House in requesting such a broad grant of war powers. This is the worst kind of election-year politics."

--Senator Robert Byrd

I'm pretty skeptical of Ramsey Clark. He makes me wonder whose side he's one.

On character assassination, I wish our politics were more genteel the way it was back in the 50s. I really don't want to know who's doing what with their cigars and so forth. And like begets like, as we've seen since Watergate. I think it deters the best people from running for office.

Would you want to be a politician? Not me. I don't like pain that much.
