<One must remember that in Muslim countries a Father can and does cut the head off his own daughter if it is simply believed she was raped. This just happened recently when a Daughter was thought to have been raped by her Uncle. Now remember, nothing happened to the Uncle! The autopsy showed the girl was still a virgin yet their society praised the father for upholding the "honor" of the family.> And young women are mutilated during a 'circumcision' at a certain age to keep them from enjoying sex too much. All over Northern and western Africa this is going on... in small, weak, poor countries. Are we in there helping??? Nawwwwww.... we don't give a rats ass! Gee Joe, In the greater context I gotta go with DAK on this one. It doesn't amount to a hill of beans in the realpolitik of the region. A red herring. BTW what happened to the uncle ? Interesting to what lengths these folk go because of a great fear of women. It must be rough for them to feel so inferior that they must exercise such control. Sad.
