Joe, the Democrats keep hoping that Bush will run again; and continue to do the wonderful job he's done with the economy

I think most people recognize that the president has nothing to do with the economy (Congress does) and that during times of international crisis you don't want a liberal calling the shots.


You keep telling yourself that.......I'm sure everyone in the Ozarks believes that.

All Bush would really need to do is say, "Remember Clinton, Carter, and LBJ" and people will immediately understand what he's talking about.

With each passing day, they look better and better.

I don't think either has a lot to do with the economy, but the president has almost as much to do with it as congress. The Fed probably has more then either, but most of all its just the actions of millions of Americans and billions of other people operating in a relativly free market.
