I did not leap to such a judgement, per above.

I would re-write the quoted from me to say "the threat is felt no matter if a President chooses to delineate possible weaknesses or not."

Which brings me(unchanged) to my charge which you have not answered, namely, that you would blast this administration too, if it did NOT delineate and act upon possible weaknesses. Instead, you now of course criticize for the opposite reason, as I believe you always will no matter the chosen course of any Republican administration.
