He's antagonized our Allies and Arab friends...He's launched this new pre-emptive strike policy that could set a very dangerous precedent worldwide. He's failed to aggressively pursue an INDEPENDENT investigation of why 9/11 took place and what should be done prevent future homeland terror incidents -- IMO, we need the best and brightest minds (from all different sectors) working on this overtime. I will contend that Al Qaeda threatens us MUCH MORE than Saddam...I also AM NOT in favor of engineering 'regime change'...I am in favor of using multi-lateral approaches to apply pressure on Iraq to disarm...If I had to vote again today I'd vote for Gore...I didn't like the choice in 2000 BUT I feel the economy would be no worse with Gore AND we would have a more effective foreign policy that favors multi-lateral approaches to dealing with problems around the world...Most likely Gore would be more actively pursuing alternate energy sources too...he's also more tuned into global environmental problems. Gore is finally speaking up without the handlers and political pros and he's coming across in a more genuine way...Would I ever support him in 2004...?? Who knows...there are lots of possibilities....Unfortunately, we still have to deal with a few more years of Bush (unless John Dean's right that we might get a scandal that could devastate the Administration -- that would be a blessing if it happened sooner rather than later). I would like to clear the decks and get some new leadership in the White House...The only one in the Administration I trust right now is Colin Powell...Oh well, these are just some of the thoughts I have at the moment...=) -Scott
