It could not have happened to a nicer team.

:o)

Giants won a snore-fest against Scott Mantz's Seagulls.

Jets stunk up the place down in Miami.

Packers showed me that they are just getting by without any help from their defense.

Who would have ever thought the Panthers would start out 3-0?

Did the Steelers play?

My son's team, The Mini Packers had the best game of the year yesterday. It was evenly matched. A real battle.
It ended in a 14-14 tie. Both teams had kids who were crying and kids who were smiling.

They learned what the game of football was really about, yesterday. Before this they played teams who were smaller and slower than they were. Yesterday was a perfect match of size and strength. It became a coaches duel or chess game.

The other team's coaches agreed with us that we should play again at the end of the season to see who wins. It should be fun.
I'll have to go back to the chalk board and figure out a few more trick plays.

It was more fun than watching the pros.
...and we had a tailgate party after the game that rivals what you see cooking up in Greenbay or Chicago's parking lots...
