Yeah, the trick is to get as familiar with a stock as you can and then take notice of the first couple trend directions. After that, go long or short and instantly enter your limit to close the position. You usually can't wait around watching it and then decide to cover because it's usually already moved away by the time you click in your order. Unless you're willing to give up a few cents and enter the order then a few cents over or under, which ever way you're trading it.

I've only been able to do it with one stock, CIEN. It seems like it was at least a year or so ago. But I managed to pull it off for a couple announcements.
Oh, I did a few trades like that also on ITWO back when I was doing it with CIEN, but the ITWO was all luck. As if the CIEN thing wasn't 90% luck either<GG>
But it is fun when it works out properly.
