Every challenge brings new issues and concerns -- Kuwait looked like a big deal at the time. Now it looks comparatively easy -- we can only know with hindsight how this will turn out. We are in a global economy -- and right now I don't think the rest of the world thinks we know what we are getting ourselves into -- and I do not mean to imply that we cannot go in and kill Saddam, because I don't think our ability to kill him is in much doubt. The situation in Israel is absurd and causes a huge strain within the region. War is like a grassfire - easy to start but hard to control. We can easily go in, but dealing with the consequences and eventually getting out might prove to be far more complicated than expected.
