...in N. Ca. People are really pissed at bush because those tax incentives he was talking about havent happened, dead in water (capital gains and dividend reform etc)

People there hold Bush responsible for his proposals not standing a chance in the Senate as long as Daschle is in control of it?

Liz: Well, you can only spend the same dollar so many times. Remember those days not so long ago when the big debate was over what to do with all those big government surpluses? Wow. Now the issue is how much red ink will flow before we get out of this deepening funk.
