O.K, i hear you. From what little i know i got the impression that when Glenn was brought in Freeman wanted out, period.
And his anger of that evidently lit his inner furnace because he arrived in Philly ready to play and minus 15lbs.
Anyone in a speed position knows the advantage of unloading 15 unneeded pounds.
We got Freeman at only 750,000 because he would only consider a team with near term Super Bowl potential.
It is a one year contract so if Freeman develops into a important receiver in McNabb's view. Philly will have to pay up.
Like if McNabb says i want Freeman, the team has got to ante up, McNabb is a franchise player with a capital F.
To be honest i think we are surprised at how ready to play Freeman was, and we haven't seen that in the slot toughness in this town since Irving Fryar.
I really don't know what was going on with Freeman in Green Bay last year, but i do know all about Glenn as i get the Boston Globe and live in New England.
To be frank, Glenn's 'injury proneness' in the view of Patriot coaches, weren't physical injuries. Max
