Naturally, I agree that "personas appear to have a clue or not." Appearance is deceptive, however. The idea that a fictional character thinks is notional. The "clue," or comprehension, you perceive is, or is not, 'had' by a person. There's nobody else out there. Including me. I'm going out to dinner now. Edit: Re "crusades." I simply posted a joke.
