I see it not as an either or proposition but find the two to be confirmational. In other words adaptation to changing environments occurs and there is an intelligent, all powerful being who wills every subcomponent of every atom to its part (Creation being outside temporal definitions, is not time limited). (Disclaimer: I realize that is not the issue under discussion)
