OT I like your idea of returning to the markets in a staged manner... ...instead of trying to hit a home run and guess the bottom. Nonetheless I am not going back in yet. I am concerned about the risk of this particular downturn feeding on itself and leading into a significant downward spiral. I hope you noticed the amount of hedging that HSGFX does. hussman.net I have been generally skeptical of hedge funds because the large skewing effect of survivor bias on the overall performance of this class of funds. It appears that this fund has a predictable systematic investment discipline. I will update you with what my financial advisor thinks. His preliminary response was that it looks interesting, but he needs to check into a few things about it. Tom
